What it does
The G. Carugati school takes children aged 3 to 6 in Manera di Lomazzo, near Como. Its old site ran on WordPress; the new one starts from what parents need. Those looking for a school find the spaces and the Open Day, those with a child already enrolled find the forms and what's for lunch today.
The canteen menu rotates by week, one for autumn-winter and one for spring-summer. The page shows today's menu with its allergens, the home page has a "Lunch today" box, and the printable PDF comes from the same data.
Any event goes into a calendar with one click. Parents who subscribe to the school calendar, on Google, iPhone or Outlook, get new events on their phone with nothing else to do.
The forms can be searched while typing, with filters by document type and school year. On phones the buttons to call and to write on WhatsApp stay at the bottom of the screen. Faces in the photo albums are blurred before they go online.
