Services
One service per page. The business web app is at the centre: the rest usually grows around it, before and after launch.
What I build
Custom business web apps most of my work
Orders, stock, jobs, invoices, shifts. The software follows your company's rules, runs in the browser, in the office and on the road, and changes when you do.
Business websites
Sites that present you well and get found. Fast pages, with text and photos you can change yourselves.
Online shops
Shops on WooCommerce, PrestaShop or Shopify, connected to your stock and invoicing, so nobody retypes an order.
Desktop apps for Windows and macOS
For when you need to work offline or talk to printers, barcode scanners and production machines.
Apps for Android and iOS
For technicians on site and agents on the road: the same data as your business software, in their pocket.
PWAs, apps from the browser
Halfway between a website and an app: it installs from the browser, with no app store, and works without a connection. It costs less than two native apps.
Integrations and automation
I connect software that doesn't talk to each other: online shop, e-invoicing, bank, CRM. Where it helps I use AI, to read documents or answer questions on your site.
Rebuilding old software
The Access database, the spreadsheet with 18 tabs, the PHP 5 site nobody wants to touch. I rebuild them and bring the data across.
After launch
Servers and hosting
I set up, update and keep an eye on the servers my clients' sites and software run on. Two plans, basic and advanced, plus 24/7 cover if you need it.
Website maintenance
Updates, backups and a check every few minutes that the site is up, with SitePing, the monitoring service I wrote.
Hacked sites and security
I clean up a hacked site, find out how they got in and close the hole. Then I keep it updated so it doesn't happen again.
SEO and AI search
Getting found on Google and cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. Most of the technical work is the same: fast pages that read well even without JavaScript.
Ad campaigns
I set up campaigns on Google Ads and Meta and look at how many enquiries they really bring, so the budget goes to the ones that pay off.
Accessibility
Sites and software that work with a keyboard or a screen reader. Since 28 June 2025 the European Accessibility Act requires it for online shops and many other services.
Looking for a specific problem, like a spreadsheet grown too big or a hacked site? It is in solutions.
