Integrations and automation

I connect software that doesn't talk to each other: online shop, e-invoicing, bank, CRM. Where it helps I use AI, to read documents or answer questions on your site.

Software that talks to each other

In many companies someone spends hours copying data from one program to another: website orders into the business software, payments into the invoice spreadsheet. Those programs nearly always have an API, or at least export a file, and the transfer can be automated.

Some integrations I've built:

  • Italian e-invoices from fatturapa.com, with their SDI status;
  • the bank statement: if the payment reference mentions the invoice and the amount matches, the invoice is marked paid on its own;
  • price files that shops send over FTP, transformed and passed on to the electronic shelf label cloud;
  • connections to WooCommerce, eBay and Vinted;
  • the renewals calendar, read from Google Calendar through a private iCal address.

With AI, where it helps

A model like Claude or GPT is good at reading documents written by people: emails, supplier PDFs, delivery notes, quote requests. I use it to pull out the data and put it into the business software, with a person confirming the doubtful cases. On your website it can answer customers' questions from your own pages and price lists.

For exact rules, like a calculation or a check, I use ordinary code: it costs less and always gives the same result.
