Sites that present you well and get found. Fast pages, with text and photos you can change yourselves.
What I build them with
It depends on who will work on the site afterwards. If you change text, photos and news often, I use WordPress or Joomla: their admin panel takes a morning to learn, and if you ever change provider you'll find other developers who know them. If the site rarely changes, I write it from scratch with static pages: no database and no plugins to update. This site is built that way, with Astro.
What's included
- pages that open quickly, on phones too;
- titles, descriptions and structured data for Google from day one;
- a contact form that lands in your inbox, with a spam check;
- the privacy policy and, if you use analytics or advertising, the cookie banner.
If the site has to sell, what you need is an online shop.
After launch
A site needs updates and somewhere to live. I can take care of both, with maintenance and hosting on my servers. If you'd rather use another provider one day, I give you the files and the database so you can move it.
