What it does
An agency that looks after dozens of client sites adds them to SitePing and installs a small plugin in each one. From then on the service checks every 1 or 5 minutes that the site answers, and once a day the SSL certificate, the domain expiry, the DNS records and the blacklists.
The plugin reports what happens inside the site: admin logins, new users, plugins installed or disabled, updates, PHP errors. It also checks the site's files against the official release and flags WordPress or Joomla versions that no longer get security fixes.
Alerts have three levels and go to the people who should get them: by email, webhook, Telegram or push notification. Every site has uptime by period, an SLA target and an outage history you can export to CSV.
How it's built
The platform is Laravel 13 on PHP 8.4, with pages rendered on the server and no build step. The plugins for the different CMSs share the same core in a common package, and uptime checks run from separate probes. The interface is in Italian and English, with a light and a dark theme.
