Piedmont business digitalisation: Line A stays open
Piedmont's voucher closed in six hours, but Finpiemonte's Line A is open until October 2028: interest-free loans and grants for projects from EUR 50,000. It covers ERP, CRM, security and e-commerce, if the project hangs together.

What it offers
Line A of the "Digitalisation and production efficiency" scheme uses EU regional funds and is run by Finpiemonte, with EUR 37 million. The window opened at 9:00 on 13 October 2026 and closes at 12:00 on 29 October 2028, unless funds run out.
- for SMEs with an operating office in Piedmont, in the Companies Register and with at least one approved set of accounts;
- minimum investment of EUR 50,000 for micro and small companies, 100,000 for medium ones, maximum 3 million;
- loans for up to 100% of costs, plus a grant share for SMEs;
- you need a decision from a partner bank and the technical-economic report (annex 7).
What it covers
Hardware, software and multi-year licences, external design and development, and intellectual property up to 10%. The areas are digital infrastructure and cybersecurity, integrated systems such as ERP, MES and CRM, e-commerce and digital marketing, and technologies such as IoT, robotics and 3D printing.
The word "coherent" matters: the call wants a digitalisation project, and a list of unrelated purchases won't get far.
How I build it
I start from how you work today and the programs you have, then write the technical part of the report: what changes, in what order, what each item costs and what gets measured at the end. A typical project combines business software, migration from spreadsheets or Access, connections to shops and suppliers, backups and access control.
I split the work into dated milestones, so the 18 months can be tracked.
What I don't do
I don't file the application or deal with the bank. This page summarises the call and the Piedmont Region and Finpiemonte pages as read on 31 October 2026. The call and its annexes are the reference.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 2026 SME digitalisation voucher still open?
No. Unioncamere Piemonte, which runs the window, closed it at 17:00 on 22 October 2026, six hours after opening, because applications had passed 120% of the funds. The call has a waiting list that moves if there are withdrawals, revocations or new funds. Line A is a different scheme.
How large is the grant share?
It depends on size, area and project type. The call gives 10% to 22.5% to micro and small companies and 5% to 12.5% to medium ones: the higher shares go to green projects and 107.3.c areas, and some bonuses, such as the legality rating, add up to 2 points. The rest is a loan, 70% interest-free from regional funds and 30% from the bank.
Can I start work right away?
No: you must apply before work starts, and finish within 18 months of the award.
Does it work for a company website?
A website alone will hardly support a EUR 50,000 investment. E-commerce and digital marketing are among the areas, but the project has to be coherent: check annex 5 on investment types.
